About Us
Who, why and where?
Fairfoods was founded by us, Clare and Paul, in 2009. We love tweaking and tasting, preparing and sharing yummy vegan food, and out of this Fairfoods was born. Fairfoods is in Devon, halfway between Exeter and Taunton.
Tell us about your food?
Before we say anything, check out feedback we have received. Our food is suitable for vegans, vegetarians and meat-eaters: we have worked hard to come up with food that can be enjoyed by everyone. All of our food is vegan, meaning that it does not contain any animal products.
Why is it vegan?
For so many reasons... which are explained well on the Vegan Campaigns website.
Can I find you at any events?
Yes! You can find out where our food is going to be in our upcoming events section and where it has been in our past events section.
Are all your recipes top secret?
Quite the opposite, we love sharing our recipes. Many can be found in our recipe section.
Do you have any trademarks?
Fairfoods is registered with The Vegan Society.
What about catering qualifications?
Clare has a BTEC diploma in vegetarian catering which she studied full time for two years at City College Plymouth. She has also taken day courses in raw food preparation run by Karen Knowler and SAF.
Who have been your influences?
Among others, we have been hugely inspired by Green Garden Cafe and Veggies, and their help and support is very much appreciated. Our experience volunteering at Pogo Cafe also inspired us to start up Fairfoods.
