PAST EVENTS: Taunton Vegan Food Fair 2010

Stall Holders

The following groups had a stall at Taunton Vegan Food Fair 2010, which took place on 10 April.

• Animal Aid
  Campaigns peacefully against all forms of animal abuse and promotes a cruelty-free lifestyle. Campaigns include Meat-Free Monday, Vegan Month and Veggie Month.

• Artisan Preserves
  Producer of quality preserves and chutneys using only local ingredients.

• Crafts for Animals
  Handmade jewellery and knitting, with all takings going to animal charities e.g. Hillside Animal Sanctuary and Environmental Investigations Agency. All materials are vegan. Contact details: Wendy on 01395 268823 or tonywendy@waitrose.com.

• Evolve Campaigns
  EVOLVE! Campaigns is a non-profit organisation embracing animal liberation through promotion of lifestyle changes. Educating and encouraging people to go vegan for their health, the environment and to reduce the exploitation of animals worldwide.



• Ethical Investors
  Ethical Investors provides specialist, independent, financial advice to individuals, groups and businesses who care about their world and its preservation. Ethical Investors actively campaigns for companies to adopt socially responsible policies. Ethical Investors distributes 50% of their net profits each year to charities and socially responsible groups. To date, this profit distribution amounts to over £500,000.

• Free Food Stall
  With delicious food tasters - from pizza, mini-quiche and salad to yummy cakes.

• Gentle Lentil
  Wholefood co-op based in Taunton.

• Green Garden Cafe
  If you enjoy the free food tasters then why not buy some scrumptious food from Green Garden Cafe? Their savouries includes mouth-watering lasagne, shepherd's pie, rice bean bake, falafel, burgers, sos rolls and pasties. Desserts include muffins and crumble & custard.

• Lush Cosmetics

• My Handmade Soaps
  Based in Devon, My Handmade Soaps make vegan soaps and shampoo bars.

• Raffle
  With lots of lovely prizes to win including a box of Booja-Booja champagne truffles and selection boxes of yummy food.

• South West Hunt Saboteurs Association
  The only organisation that works directly in the field to protect wildlife from the hunter.

• Supreme Master TV
  Not-for-profit TV channel which promotes various issues including veganism.

• Viva!
  Viva! campaign against the meat and dairy industries and promote veganism. Their latest campaign is against a massive dairy 'prison' in Lincolnshire. More details on the front page of their website and on Facebook.

• Wales Against Badger Cull
